Frequently Asked Questions
What size condom should I use?
Most men do best with standard-sized condoms (52-54mm width). If standard condoms feel tight, slip off, or constrict your erection, try a larger size. If they feel loose or bunch up, try a snug fit. Check our condom size guide for details.
Are all condoms FDA-approved?
Every condom we sell at Condomania is FDA-approved for STI and pregnancy prevention. We don't carry unapproved or novelty-only condoms.
What's the difference between latex and polyisoprene condoms?
Latex is the standard material — strong, stretchy, affordable, FDA-tested for over 80 years. Polyisoprene (used in SKYN and similar brands) is a latex alternative for users with latex allergies. It feels softer, transmits body heat better, but costs more. Both block STIs and prevent pregnancy at the same rate.
Do condoms expire?
Yes. Latex and polyisoprene condoms are good for 4-5 years from manufacture. Check the expiration date on the foil wrapper before use. Expired condoms are more likely to break.
How do I store condoms?
Keep them in a cool, dry place — bedside drawer, medicine cabinet, etc. Avoid heat (don't store in cars or wallets long-term — body heat and friction degrade latex). Store in their original foil wrappers until use.
