Condomania is proud to be America's first-ever condom store. We opened our doors in New York City in June of 1991.
That’s right, we’re a part of condom history. Wikipedia even has a paragraph about us in its History of Condoms article. Pretty cool!
Before the 90s, the only place you could go for condoms was the pharmacy. There, you had a few measly brands to choose from as you slunk through the aisles, dodging the sidelong glances of grannies doing their prescription drug runs.
Condomania was the first shop to show Americans that condoms were a fun and normal part of a healthy sex life. For the first time, people could explore a wide range of condom shapes, sizes, and styles. They could also try sex lube and learn about sex toys in a safe and judgment-free environment.
For over 30 years, the Condomania team has made it our mission to assist customers of every age, sex, culture, and sexual orientation in the purchase of condoms and safer-sex products.
We’re still around today because we take safety, education, and quality extremely seriously.
Today, Condomania's online store features over 100 condoms from around the world. Every condom includes helpful information on size, style, shape, material, and more to ensure you find the perfect match for your man handle (or your man’s handle).
We also have the largest curated collections of sex lube and sex toys on the web, featuring products from top brands like TENGA, LELO, Magic Wand, Satisfyer, and many more.
Sex shops are a dime a dozen on the internet, and they’ll sell you any old knockoff sex toy or untested condom to make a buck. Don’t risk your health or your pleasure to just anyone.
Shop for condoms, lube, and sex toys at Condomania. We’re America’s first condom shop—and still the nation’s favorite place to shop for all its kinky needs.
Do you ever watch porn? Yeah…that’s not real sex. But unfortunately, about 1 in 4 Americans learn about sex through porn. These unrealistic standards have created a lot of confusion about our bodies, our pleasure, and how to engage in safe sex.
At Condomania, we strive to educate people on what sex really is through practical tips, compassion, humor, and openness. We believe that the best way for the public to make educated choices about safer-sex products is through access to accurate, non-judgmental information.
We want customers to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas. Our highly-trained staff are basically obsessed with condoms and sex toys, and they’ve created a supportive and friendly space for customers to speak out.
We make it a point to test and use our products, listen to your feedback, and stay informed of the latest sexual health research. We rant about all of this and more in the Condomania blog, where we post product reviews, guides, and lots of memes.
We know that real sex isn’t like the movies. It can be messy, awkward, funny, and weird. We also know that when you find the right condom and explore your kinks in a healthy way, sex becomes safer and way more fun.
Condomania opened its doors in the early 90s, and back then, sex was a little scary. HIV and AIDS were becoming an epidemic, and everyone wanted to know how to stay safe.
From our first day on the job, the Condomania team began educating Americans on how to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV and AIDS.
The week following Magic Johnson's announcement of his HIV status, a group of mothers asked our employees to teach their sons how to use condoms. We stepped up to the task and spoke to young people about the risks and realities of sex.
Over the years, Condomania has made a difference in the lives of thousands of Americans:
We aren’t just talk—we know our stuff. Condomania employees are trained to take complicated medical terminology and misinformation and translate them into clear and practical information. And we are not afraid to go into the field and be the change.
Thousands of teens and adults continue to confide in our employees about their sexual experiences and needs. Encounters like these remind us of the important role we play in helping people make smart decisions about sexual activity.
Condomania is proud to have started a condom revolution. And we’ve only just begun. If you have questions about sex and want a safe space to chat, contact us anytime.
