Straight Shape Condoms: The Classic
The straight shape condom — sometimes called a parallel-wall or sheath condom — is the original design. Walls run parallel from base to tip, with a small reservoir at the top to catch ejaculate. It's been the standard for over a century, and it's still the shape most condoms in the world use.
Why? Because it works for almost everyone. Straight-shape condoms accommodate the full range of penis girths and lengths, don't pre-suppose where the most sensitive areas are, and are easy to put on correctly without thinking about orientation.
Straight vs. Contoured vs. Flared
- Straight (parallel walls): uniform width head to base. Most condoms. Works for most guys.
