Choosing a condom is tough, so it can be helpful to learn about the condoms other people enjoy.
Unfortunately, asking friends and family about their phallic fashion preferences is not exactly a dinner-table conversation.
Luckily, the condom experts at Condomania keep up with all the condom trends so you don’t have to have those awkward conversations—or find yourself with a box of sketchy off-brand rubbers.
At Condomania, we’ve been selling condoms for over 30 years, and we have enough condom data to fill the national archives.
Each year, we peruse the latest stats and publish our official report on the most popular condoms. If you want to be extra trendy, we also share the top up-and-comers to explore.

About Our Best-Selling Condoms List
How we built this year’s list…
How did we compile our best-selling condom list? Well, we looked at sales data from the past year using several sources.
The first is America’s favorite condom shop, Condomania, which has been selling condoms since 1991. We also looked at sales data from Amazon and a few other retailers.
Next, we checked customer reviews. While the top sellers are important, we also wanted to make sure that each best-selling condom was actually getting great reviews.
Why we rank by condom brand…
We took the best-selling condoms and separated them by brand. What’s the logic behind that?
Well, in the US, Trojan more or less dominates the top spots.
Even though this year it lost the top position to Skyn (a non-latex line of condoms made by LifeStyles), most individual condoms in the top 10 are Trojan condoms.
It would be pretty boring and somewhat unhelpful if our top 10 condoms list consisted mainly of Trojan condoms.
So, we listed the top-selling condom brands along with the best-selling condoms from each brand.
Keep in mind…
All of the data used to compile this list was for online sales. That’s why you see some non-standard sizes on this list, such as snug fit and large condoms.
These are not as commonly found in stores, so they are represented more in online sales.
You might also notice that vegan condoms, non-latex condoms, and premium condoms (such as P.S. and LELO) are also popular online.
Again, many people buy these condoms online because they are not as widely available in stores.
Overall, you can trust these results to find a great condom. Personally, Skyn Elite is my favorite condom, and it came in at #1 on the best-seller list this year.
The staff here at Condomania can vouch for all the condoms that made this year’s list.
100% of the condoms on the list are made by trusted manufacturers and FDA-approved for safe sex.
Insights from The Most Popular Condoms Ranking
Our world was rocked by a few shocks and surprises when we were putting together this list of condoms. What can we say—we’re condom nerds.
Here are a few trends we noticed from the data that might help you choose a condom.
Skyn and Trojan Reign
The top-selling condoms this year were dominated by Trojan and Skyn.
Trojan is the OG inventor of the latex condom, and it’s been selling condoms in the US for over a century.
Trojan’s newer offerings, such as its BareSkin line of condoms, are quickly becoming national favorites.
Skyn is a brand of non-latex condoms by LifeStyles. But the reason Skyn is #1 has nothing to do with latex allergies. Non-latex allergic people are falling in love with Skyn too.
Skyn condoms are made of polyisoprene, a material with excellent heat transfer properties. This boosts the sensation of heat, moisture, and friction for both partners.
This means you feel less of the condom and more skin-on-skin pleasure (hence the name).
Trojan and Skyn condoms are both worth a try if you haven’t had the pleasure. And, they are both available in variety packs, so you can sample more than one best seller.

Premium Condoms are Climbing the Ranks
Premium condoms are made with higher-quality materials, and their manufacturers sometimes engage in more intense testing for your safety.
These condoms typically cost more, but the peace of mind and increased pleasure are worth the price for many.
One of the biggest spikes in popularity came from LELO’s Hex line of condoms. LELO is one of the most trusted sex toy manufacturers , and recently, they launched their first condoms.
LELO Hex condoms are made of 350 hexagonal cells that hug your shaft and hold tight. If a break occurs, the damage is confined to a single cell, potentially reducing the chances of exposure.
P.S. Condoms is another premium brand on this year’s list. They cost about twice as much as standard condoms, but they are made with a smoother and softer latex for a more natural feel.
P.S. is also obsessed with purity. Their condoms are 100% cruelty-free, and they are made without risky chemical additives.
Most Popular Condom Style: Thin Condoms
Among all the individual best-selling condoms, ultra-thin condoms were the most popular condom style. And it wasn’t a close call, either.
The #1 condom of the year, Skyn Elite, is a thin non-latex condom.
The top Trojan condoms, coming in at #2 and #3, were Trojan Ultra Thin and Trojan BareSkin Raw (Trojan’s thinnest condom).
Other ultra-thin condoms that made the list include Trojan Magnum Raw, Durex Air, P.S. Exceptionally Thin, and Okamoto 0.04.
Ultra-thin condoms are made to maximize sensation. When there’s less of the condom, you feel more of your partner.
Ultra-thin condoms are just as safe as standard condoms, so you get more pleasure without any additional risk.
All of the ultra-thin condoms on the list above will boost sensation for you and your partner. If you can’t choose just one, try an ultra-thin condom variety pack.
It includes 12 ultra-thin condoms from this year’s top brands and more.
Climax Control Condoms Haven’t Even Begun to Peak
Climax control condoms can help you take control over your O and last longer in bed.
These condoms have been growing in popularity over the years, and this year, several of them made the best-seller list.
Coming in near the top of the list are Trojan Extended Pleasure and Durex Prolong.
Both of these condoms contain numbing lube to reduce sensation during sex. This can help penis-havers delay orgasm and prolong the fun.
Another last-longer condom, LifeStyles Tough, also made the list. This condom features a thicker barrier to reduce sensation, but it doesn’t contain a numbing agent.
If you want to last longer in bed, it’s good to know that these condoms are helping so many guys take control and regain their confidence.
Trending Condoms that Didn’t Make the List
There are hundreds of condoms out there, and not all of them can make the best-seller list.
But just because their popularity hasn’t reached Taylor Swift levels doesn’t mean they aren’t worth a shot (pun intended).
In fact, many of the best condoms are still flying under the radar.
Here are some of the top condoms approaching the best-seller list. Maybe they’ll claim a spot next year!

How to Choose a Condom from the List
Just because a condom is a best-seller doesn’t mean it’s the right condom for you. Of course, choosing a best-selling condom increases your chances of getting a quality rubber.
However, it’s much more important to consider your size and personal preferences.
Size Matters
Size is the most important factor when choosing a condom. If you wear the wrong size, discomfort is the least of your worries.
Your game in bed will suffer (your partner can tell) and you’ll massively boost your chances of STI transmission and unwanted pregnancy.
Public service announcement: Condoms only protect you if you wear the right size.
Luckily, it’s super easy to measure your meat. Find out how to do it here.
If your size is standard, most of the condoms on the list will fit you. I’d recommend trying Skyn Elite or Trojan Ultra Thin.
If your size is snug, go for LifeStyles Snugger Fit, Union Snug, or Glyde SlimFit .
If your size is large, try Trojan Magnum Raw or LELO Hex Respect XL.
If you’re not sure about your exact size, Condomania has you covered. We offer variety packs in each size category.
So, you can try 12 different condoms in your size, making it easy to find the perfect fit.

Choose a Condom that Turns You On
Your preferences are important to consider when choosing a condom. Just because a certain style is popular (such as ultra-thin condoms) doesn’t mean you’ll enjoy it.
Choose a condom style that gives you confidence in the bedroom.
If you want to maximize sensation, choose an ultra-thin condom like Trojan BareSkin Raw or P.S. Exceptionally Thin.
If you want more control over your pleasure, choose a climax-control condom like Trojan Extended Pleasure or Durex Prolong.
You may also want a condom with extra lubrication, like Durex Extra Sensitive Thin, which can help make sex more comfortable.
Textured condoms are also very popular. They have ribs and studs on the surface of the condom to boost sensation.
While they didn’t make the list, Trojan Ultra Ribbed and Trojan Her Pleasure were very popular this year.
